Spinach Green Hummus

Today's recipe is a easy Green Hummus!
Hummus is a traditional Middle Eastern dip made from chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice and garlic...Also I used raw salad spinach! So you can get a lot of enzymes, iron, vitamins too!
It takes only 5 minutes to make!

Green Hummus


Ingredients

1/2 can chickpeas
50g(1 cup) spinach chopped
2 tbs peanut butter(no sugar) (tahini is ok too)
2 tbs lemon juice
1 tbs + 1 tsp olive oil
2 cloves of garlic
salt and pepper




Directions

1. Put the chickpeas, spinach, peanut butter, lemon juice, garlic and salt in a food processor, mixed it up until it turned into a paste.(Check the photo above)

2. Place the hummus in a cup and pour 1 tsp of olive oil and pepper and start dipping your veggies!

3. I cut up some...red cabbage, cucumber, carrot, broccoli, cauliflower, and celery.




*I recommend a peanut butter with no sugar, no salt or other chemicals.
