Tofu Peperoncino with Peanuts
In Japan, usually we eat tofu with soy sauce, bonito flakes and ginger.
(It called "Hiyayakko") So I want to suggest this recipe to my Japanese friends!
New Hiyayakko style.
Italian aglio olio e peperoncino tofu.
(aglio=garlic, olio=oil, peperoncino=pepper)
Here is the Tofu Peperoncino recipe
Ingredients
1/3 soft tofu
1 stalks green onion chopped
1 clove garlic finely chopped
1 inch ginger finely chopped
1 dry pepper
salt and pepper
1 tbs vegetable oil
peanuts (option)
Directions
1.Wrap the tofu and in a towel and drain off the water.
2.Put the oil, garlic, ginger and pepper in a frying pan.
Heat on medium for a few minutes.
2. When the oil gets hot, add the green onions and saute a few minutes.
Add salt and pepper, then turn off the heat and put it on the tofu.
