Bok Choy
We usually eat different kinds of napa cabbage in Japan.
Shorter and wider than bok choy. But they are from the same basic family.
So of course I want to try it raw, so I can get the enzymes from bok choy!
Today I made bok choy pickles with soy sauce and mayonnaise.
This combination is really tasty!
Bok Choy Soy-Mayo Pickles
Ingredients
1/2 bok choy (about 200g) but into-0.8mm
1 tsp salt
1 tbs soy mayonnaise or mayonnaise
1 tsp soy sauce
dry chili pepper
Directions
1. Put the bok choy in a bowl, add salt, mix by hand a little bit, put a heavy bowl on top and set aside until they have gotten a bit soft.
2. When the bok choy is soft, rinse and drain the excess water from the bok choy.
3. Put the mayonnaise, soy sauce and chili pepper in a bowl, mix well and add the bok choy. Mix well and serve on a plate.
Enjoy!
