Turnip Potage Soup

This winter season, I'm trying to eat soup everyday.
Today's soup was French-style "Turnip Potage Soup"

Here is the Turnip Potage Soup recipe...

Ingredients

2 turnips
2 potatoes
1 onion
1 bay leaf
400ml vegetable bouillon or 1tbs vegetable consomme +400ml water
herb salt


pepper
1 tbs butter(option)

Directions

1.Peel the turnips, potatoes, onion and cut each into 8 pieces.
Soak the potatoes in water for 3 minutes and drain well.

2.Add the turnips, potatoes, onion,bay leaf,pinch of herb salt and bouillon in a sauce pan.
Cook vegetables until they are soft.


3.Remove the bay leaf. Put the vegetables (2) in a blender puree.
(save 2 pieces of turnip and cut 3mm pieces)
Return the puree and turnip into a sauce pan.

4.Add herb salt and pepper.




Thick Soup!
