My Personal Tips to Getting Naturally Clear Skin
I ain't no superstar who can visit the dermatologist and spend thousands just to maintain my skin at its best state, but then again, I really feel lucky with having naturally clear skin that doesn't break out that much.
And unlike our younger generation who are now able to get a lot of information from the internet, my highschool days mostly involve saving a part of my everyday 'baon' to school to buy facial care products and those beauty magazines that I never missed to buy every month.
Oh, and how those magazines taught me how to cleanse, tone and moisturize, has been a huge part during my teens. But now that I am older, I am now more cautious with products which may do harm than good to my skin. At the end of the day, I make sure to only use the right products which are allowed to touch my skin (is this a commercial? LOL)
Until about a month ago I have been relying in using AcneCare products as part of my facial care regimen. AcneCare is also under Vida Nutriscience, the makers of MySlim and Snow Caps Glutathione Capsules, but under AcneCare, you can choose from using their AcneCare Lactoferrin Dietary Supplement, AcneCare Soap and AcneCare Acne Drying Lotion.
If you don't believe that eating junkfood can actually break your skin out, then think again. Of course, you would see other advertisements declaring that dirt is the root cause of pimples and acne, but actually, diet and lifestyle are the usual culprits that causes breakouts. The quick solution? AcneCare Acne Drying Lotion. I normally break out during days when it's almost my monthly 'girl thing', so I make sure I dab the affected areas on my face with this unusually pink solution. Give it about a day or two and you would notice that your pimples have already dried out. NICE!
If your skin type is more on the oily side and may have more breakouts than usual, then you might want to take AcneCare Lactoferrin Dietary Supplement to eventually achieve that clear complexion that you have always wanted.
As for cleansing the skin, using AcneCare Soap daily can help you maintain that clear skin with a fragrance free formula as well as Tea Tree Oil and Bio Sulfur that are considered very effective ingredients to help treat existing breakouts.
Rule of thumb: of course, you should never forget to always tone and moisturize to make sure that your skin is in tiptop shape. And also make sure that we are not just talking about our face, but our entire body as well. Not all people may be doing it but with every bath you take, you always strip off the natural oils on your skin which makes it dry and flaky at times, so make sure you use the right moisturizers such as organic body oils and paraben-free lotions.
As for lifestyle, always try to get a good night's rest. Yes, you may want to stay up a little bit late to continue playing COC or spend the night out with friends, but nothing is better than waking up in the morning and not feeling drowsy or tired, right?
And if you are dealing with #foodieproblems like me, yes, there will be days that I pig out, but I always make sure that I take my daily dose of tea to help wash out the toxins on my system. Make sure you let it all out!
Also, whenever possible, I go to spas with sauna and steam to open up my pores and to let myself into a calmer, more peaceful state. One of my favorite spas to go to now are Tocarre Spa in Makati (where there is not a lot of people) and my go-to spa in Quezon City, Soneva Spa (they have no steam but the place is so perfect and peaceful that I love going there for stress relief).
