Basil Pesto Genovese

In this season I make Basil pesto Genovese almost every year.
I always use it for pasta, pizza, salad or whatever else I can think of!
And if you don't use it all soon, you can freeze it too.


Fresh Basil!


I picked some fresh basil from my garden.
And I got some basil from my friend too!


Ingredients

40~50g basil
1 garlic
50g pine nuts
50g parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 cup(80~100cc) extra virgin olive oil

Directions

1. Take off the stems from basil. Wash well, take the leaves out of the bowl and dry them.

2.Add the basil, garlic, pine nut, parmesan cheese and salt in the mixer and mix for few seconds.

3. Pour olive oil in the mixer slowly and mix well.
