Japanese Pickled Cabbage
It called "Kyabetsu no asazuke" in Japanese
Quick and easy pickles
Here is the recipe
(Japanese vegetarian recipe)
Ingredients
4 leaves cabbage (about 200g)
1/2 carrot(about 50g)
3 tbs vinegar
1 tbs sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp lime juice
lime zest
Directions
1.Cut the cabbage and carrot. Put them in a bowl, add salt and mix well. Put 600cc of water in a bowl (or something heavy) and set it on top of the cabbage and carrots, then set aside.
2.Boil the vinegar and sugar until the sugar has dissolved.
