Tofu dip
Tofu is a popular food in Japan.
We usually eat it raw with soy sauce(It called "Hiyayakko" or
sometimes we put it in miso soup. It called "Tofu no Miso shiru")
Tofu Dip
Today I made tofu dip.
It's easy for foreigners to eat and it is kind of interesting for Japanese people too because it is a dish we would not typically make with tofu.
Ingredients
1/2 pack tofu
1 tbsp mustard
1/2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp lemon juice
Kosher salt and pepper
Directions
1.Wrap the tofu in a towel and drain off water.
2.Smash the tofu with strainer
Mash the tofu(make it smooth, like a paste)
3.Mix oil, lemon juice, mustard, salt and pepper in a bowl.
Add the tofu and mix well.
Tofu dip with vegetables.
(broccoli, carrot, paprika, celery, etc...)
Enjoy!
