Diet Tofu Salad
I'm happy I was able to find tofu in the USA.
But it tastes different than Japanese tofu...
It is a little more firm (even the soft tofu is harder than in Japan) and kind of sour.
Anyway tofu has good protein and is low in calories.
If you want to diet, tofu is a perfect ingredient!
Tofu
Here is the Diet Tofu Salad recipe
Ingredients
1/4 lettuce
1/4 tofu
3 cherry tomatoes
sliced almonds
coriander
Dressing
1/2 tbs sesame paste
1/2 tbs soy sauce
1/2 tbs water
1/2 tsp vinegar
1/4 tsp sugar
pinch of pepper
Directions
1.Tear the lettuce into bite-size leaves, cut the tomato in half and cut the tofu into 1 inch pieces.
2.Make the dressing.
In a small bowl put the dressing ingredients and mix well.
3.Toss with vegetables and dressing before eating.
Put the almonds and coriander on top.
