Day 1 of Yoghurt
You can either make the yoghurt yourself or buy from the supermarket. If you wish to make yourself below is the recipe to make plain yoghurt:
(1) Warm milk (1/2 cup) in a saucepan over low heat until about body temperature.
(2) Pour the milk into a bowl and add natural yoghurt (1/4 teaspoon) and stir well.
(3) Cover the bowl with a lid or plastic wrap and leave it at room temperature to set for no more than 12 hours.
(4) Spoon the set yoghurt into a bowl and add any fruit puree and mix well.
The yoghurt can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
If you cannot find natural yoghurt, you can get plain yoghurt with live cultures available at the supermarket.
You can also get the plain yoghurt and add your own fruit purees to it. The ready to serve type with added fruits contain too much sugar so best if you can either homemade or get a plain yoghurt and add your fresh fruit purees to it.
Fruit purees can be banana, mango, cherries, rock melon. Or even mix the purees together. It is up to your creativity.
I serve the yoghurt during his snack time in the afternoon.
