Burger Bar Weekends at Holiday Inn & Suites Makati (with new vlog!)
To celebrate America's Independence Day, our friends from Holiday Inn & Suites Makati are offering their All-American Food Festival at Flavors, Holiday Inn's flagship all-day dining restaurant. This month, feast on unlimited Southern Style Baby Back Ribs, Buttermilk Fried Chicken, with popular sides, and classic desserts like American Apple Pie and New York Cheesecake!
Nevertheless, Flavors is still offering other specialities from all over the world, including Filipino, Japanese, Chinese, a bit of European and Indian food, which they are also known for. They also bake their own bread, and because I live on bread and butter, then this is a very good sign that Flavors is a great deal of a buffet overall.
This is happening on all weekends of July (Fridays to Sundays) for lunch and dinner, and is priced at Php1605 nett and Php1818 nett respectively.
But the most exciting part of when I was there was checking out their Burger Bar and Tex-Mex Taco Bar!
Both bars are situated beside each other near their open kitchen, and you can choose from either US Grade 100% Beef patties or the ones made with Chicken if you're trying to cut down on red meat. You can choose between Brioche, a favorite choice for may burger lovers; Rye or even Ciabatta buns.
And as for the toppings? Oh, there is a LOT to choose from. Whether it's caramelized onions, spicy coleslaw, jalapeno peppers, homemade guacamole, tomato chutney or a wide variety of cheeses, you're sure to add in more delicious flavors made-to-order and according to your preference.
As for me, I ordered a burger with EVERYTHING ON IT, and have it stacked high as possible! After all, the messier, the better if you're eating burgers!

See me chowing down into this massive burger on the video. So what I had that time was this plate of massive proportions, a burger with tomatoes, greens, cheese, onion rings, crispy potato wedges, fried baby potatoes and homemade potato chips!
I wasn't able to take a lot of photos, to be honest, but at least I got to take a photo of my "side dish", a massive taco. With, I suppose, also has everything on it. You can also have nachos instead, and choose from toppings like chili con carne and even pulled pork!
Ooh and they have all-meat hotdogs available too! So so good.
Kat, a foodie friend of mine, offered us to try her favorite, the Chocolate Mousse with a surprise below. Placed in shot glasses, she immediately finished three of these in one sitting. I, on the other hand, enjoyed just one, but I had to make sure I got a dose of Crepe Samurai, the popular dessert that used to be available at the already-closed Intercontinental Manila. If you are craving for this, all you gotta do is pay a visit at Holiday Inn & Suites!
Other must try desserts are the Red Velvet Cake, Ube Cheesecake and their sumptuous Apple Pie!
And while there are a number of other more affordable buffets in the Greenbelt/Glorietta area, you can really get more out of your money when you try Flavors All Day Dining at Holiday Inn & Suites, especially since they're not as expensive as other hotel buffets and their prices are similar to buffet restaurants that you find inside the mall. An awesome deal, overall!
They say that their breakfast buffet is good too, so I'm hoping I can try that one soon! :) Cheers!
