2017 Korean Culture Days in Vietnam

On March 11 and 12, the Korean Cultural Center in Vietnam and the Embassy of Korea in Vietnam, in collaboration with the Quang Nam People's Committee, hosted the Korean Culture Days at the An Hoi Sculpture Park in Hoi An City.
Visitors had the opportunity to participate in Korean cultural activities and enjoy performances. The event was a part of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Korea, from Dec. 22, 1992, to Dec. 22, 2017.

During the two-days at the An Hoi Sculpture Park, the event attracted a large number of non-Vietnamese tourists, as well as locals. Hoi An used to be known for its famous Old Town of Quang Nam Province, about 30 km south of Da Nang City.
Performances by Sachoom and Bibapare are fresh and vibrant. They really connect with the audience and just steal their hearts. It's so amazing!
In addition, tourists can enjoy a lantern lighting ceremony on the full moon of the 14th lunar month and the release of candle-lit paper flowers along the Hoai River at night.
Cultural cooperation between Vietnam and Korea is becoming stronger. The Korean Culture Days were a good opportunity for cultural exchange. They were also important for contributing to bilateral relations. This will help attract more Korean tourists to the city.
