Reasons Why You Should Add Edsa Shangri-la Mad For Wagyu To Your #BuffetGoals This 2016
If you haven't found out about Heat at Edsa Shangri-La's insane Mad For Wagyu Night yet, then fret not, because this amazing deal is going to last for ALL SATURDAYS (dinner time) until the end of 2016! Heat is making sure that everyone gets to enjoy all the wagyu goodness all throughout! It's been a couple of months since I last visited the place, but believe me when I say that the guys at Heat really pulled this thing off pretty good!
It's the ultimate #buffetgoal this year!
Here is a quick preview of what happened during my visit, and see some reasons, or rather, dishes, that will make you want to add visiting Heat to your buffet bucketlist!
If you can't decide on what to get first, then Heat provides everyone with a list of recommendations created by the chefs themselves.
...order some Wagyu made into Breakfast Steak cuts just so you can consume it in "moderation" :))
...attempt to skip the wagyu for a moment to try their Roasted Duck too!
You can also create a surf and turf meal with all the lobsters that you can also consume to your heart's desire! Everything is of great quality so you are sure to get your money's worth.
Some cold cuts and cured meats are also up for grabs at Heat's Mad for Wagyu Night.
So if it's a Wagyu Cubano or Wagyu Panini that you might be craving for, then by all means do it! DO IT! Just choose what you want and they can have it mad using their panini press.
Perhaps, some Wagyu Beef Salad?
Or maybe you fancy some Wagyu Beef Tartare?
This plate of Wagyu cheeks braised in red wine with shallots and glazed carrots tasted divine.
Have your Wagyu Tartare with some poached quail egg with or without toast (although I like it better with toast)
Say hello to my plate of Wagyu happiness. As my KTG fam would say, I WAGYU SO MUCH!
And here is my Wagyu Tartare on toast. UGH. THIS. It might be something of an acquired taste though, since not everyone might appreciate the feeling of eating raw beef.
One of my raves at Mad For Wagyu: the Wagyu Beef Ball Pao Buns or better known as Xiao Long Bao! Chewy buns combined with that awesome soupy filling and vegatables is just delicious!
If Heat is a seafood lover's paradise on Fridays with their Lobster Buffet, it becomes a Meatlover's heaven every dinner time on Saturdays! Go gaga over this too-big-to-be-true Roast Beef which looks so scrumptious, I want to eat it all, hihi!
And don't you dare forget to try the Tomahawk Steak which stands out in all its glory. Whew. I am literally salivating while I make this post!
Not convinced yet? Oh don't you resist on this deal.
Just like adding only a few hundred pesos to upgrade your Mad For Wagyu buffet with some overflowing Stella Artois. Oh gosh, what is the meaning of diet now!
Even the desserts at Mad For Wagyu are just as interesting as the main dishes! You can have this good-for-two Crepe shaped like the Mad For Wagyu logo, made in front of you and topped with things like fruits and cereals, jams and syrup!
And then, have another piece of steak, hehe! Or not! Celebrate your birthday at Heat and they can give you this special cake made exactly like a porterhouse steak! CUTE!
Oh, and my ultimate rave at Mad For Wagyu: free massages for all! All customers can also have a chance to have a free 5-minute back massage c/o Chi Spa at Edsa Shangri-La. It eased up my back good so I got more food!
