Crystal Jade Enters 2016 With A Bang! Check Out What's New On Their Menu

As we enter 2016 and move towards the Chinese New Year, it's not different for many Filipino-Chinese families (such as ours, for instance) to join in the festive celebrations. And what better way to do that than to have your share of Chinese food such as noodles and dimsum! If so, Crystal Jade Dining IN is definitely on top of my list. The elegant branch in BGC is a perfect venue not just for special occasions but also for every dining as well. 

They currently offer fine dining and casual dinner set-ups as well. Although many of you may also be aware of Crystal Jade Shanghai Delight branch in Greenhills, they recently announced the store's closure as Greenhills Center is making some changes and also so they can focus more on the new things and to strengthen their Dining IN restaurant in BGC.

Speaking of new things, BGC now introduces the Dimsum items from Crystal Jade Shanghai Delight, with afternoon dimsum delights and all-day specials that are just absolutely yummy.

Some recommendations: Radish Pastries which are savory puffs filled with a cooked radish mixture. These are light with a slightly crispy exterior that's like biting through air.

The Beef Balls look simple but tasted fantastic. Most of their dimsum items are traditionally served in wooden steam baskets so it's not impossible to get one or two of these once you try them.

Speaking of which, don't ignore the Pork Xiao Long Bao, soupy steamed dumplings that bursts in your mouth with each bite. The trick is to take one xiao long bao and lay it on your spoon so you can eat it in one mouthful. The combination of flavors and textures are outstandingly good.

Crystal Jade Dining IN also offers new and exciting dishes that may seem familiar, but wait until you taste them. Their Tan Tan Mian, or better known as Tantanmen in other places, is a rich noodle dish with a soup base made with peanuts and other spices. The rich and thick texture of the sauce is enveloped in each noodle strand which is firm and thick. This is truly a filling meal (and even big enough for 2)

Lastly, you can always count on Crystal Jade Dining IN for all your Chinese Food favorites prepared with the highest quality of ingredients. Staples like Yang Chow Fried Rice, Sweet and Sour Pork, Seafood Specialties and of course, my favorite Almond Jelly Dessert will always be available whenever you visit Crystal Jade.
