Hijiki and Napa Cabbage Salad
Here is a rather simple Japanese traditional ingredient recipe...
In the States, I can only buy hijiki at certain Asian super markets.
So if you have one nearby, try to find some hijiki.
Hijiki
hijiki is a brown sea vegetable growing wild on rocky
coastlines around japan..it's a traditional Japanese food.
(from wiki)
It might not sound so delicious, but I think it tastes great
and it's really good for you!
Hijiki and Napa Cabbage Salad

1 1/2Tbsp olive oil
1 clove of garlic (chop finely)
A few almond slices and some pepper on top
Directions
1.Soak the hijiki in a bowl of water for 10 min.
Cut the Napa cabbage into 5mm-long thin strips.
Put Napa cabbage in a bowl and sprinkle 1/2teaspoon salt on it and mix well.
